Cranberry, raspberry and white pepper dominate the wines forwardness. Spice and viscosity round out the mouthfeel with a warm luscious finish. The three acre Oddone Vineyard located in Sonoma County’s world famous Dry Creek Valley is a true Zinfandel gem. The vineyard planted to old clone Zinfandel and interspersed with 5 percent Petite Sirah yields a true old world bonanza. Hearty yet elegant, this wine captures the meaning of Big Boy Zin. Aged in medium toast American oak barrels, (33% new) the wine has the ability to stand up to rich grilled / smoked meat fare now and the legs to develop gracefully over the next 4-6 years.
